Record #60

This encaustic and multimedia artwork was created during my time at the Georgia Governor's Honors Program. The base layers are a collection of trash found in the art building. Next, I layered encaustic on top and created geometric sections to break up the busy composition. I then scratched away some of the encaustic and filled the divots with oil paint. This work is titled Record #60 because it records what my classmates and I produced at GHP, created from the remnants of our process.
