Paper Architecutre: Progression

With this paper relief, I wanted to explore human advancements in architecture and art through history. I researched different artistic styles and technological advancements to construct the columns from pre-antiquity to the present. I then made the relief using layered paper to create three-dimensional forms and emphasized raised portions of the work with cardboard underneath.
