Dance With Me

This dress was showcased at the 2023 Atlanta Dogwood Festival as part of the Atlanta High School Art Exhibition. My sister and I made the dress out of old upholstery fabric. I created my initial sketch digitally and then used chalk to transfer my design with a stencil. The painting depicts ten dances worldwide and shows the connectivity of dance across cultures. I used pinks and blues to give it a dream-like feeling and used the dancers' limbs to create movement.
